Yes. Shopify removed Stocky from the App Store in February 2026 and retires it entirely on August 31, 2026. Core features like stock counts and transfers are moving into Shopify’s native inventory management.
Does Shopify’s built-in inventory replace Stocky?
Partly. Shopify’s native tools cover stock counts and transfers. What they don’t cover is everything before products exist in Shopify: reading vendor purchase orders, receiving shipments against the original order, tracking true landed cost, and publishing finished products.
